Mehnla Town, Nimba County, Liberia: – A heartbreaking and shocking incident has left residents of Mehnla Town in deep sorrow and disbelief after three children were discovered dead in their home early this morning.

According to community sources, the children, one female and two males, were found lifeless inside the house in what eyewitnesses described as a disturbing scene. Their grandmother, who was reportedly in the home at the time of the incident, is currently missing and her whereabouts remain unknown.

A local businesswoman, who requested anonymity, stated that the children’s mother had reportedly left the children in the care of their grandmother the previous night. The community awoke to the devastating news of the children’s deaths, sending shockwaves throughout Mehnla.

Residents say tensions are high, as community members have begun searching for the missing grandmother while awaiting further updates from authorities. Officers of the Liberia National Police have arrived at the scene and have launched a full investigation into the matter.

In a sad twist of events, the tragedy comes just one day after the Dorliea family gathered in Mehnla to honor their mother, Ma Hawa Dorliea.

The entire Mehnla community remains in mourning as police continue their investigation and efforts to locate the missing grandmother.
