Paynesville City, Montserrado County — Senator Saah H. Joseph, Political Leader of the proposed People Action Party (PAP), has intensified his community outreach with a visit to Cross River Estate in the Soul Clinic Community, where he engaged hundreds of women on issues affecting their livelihoods and empowerment.
The engagement, held on Monday, brought together women from across the community, as Senator Joseph—alongside members of the party’s women wing—outlined his vision for inclusive development with a strong focus on uplifting women.
Speaking during the interaction, Senator Joseph emphasized the importance of women’s participation in governance and national development, assuring the gathering that his political agenda prioritizes economic opportunities, support programs, and empowerment initiatives tailored specifically for women.
“We cannot talk about development without empowering our women,” he stated, while encouraging them to remain active participants in shaping their future.
Residents used the opportunity to voice concerns ranging from limited economic opportunities to infrastructure challenges affecting daily life in the community.
As part of his intervention, Senator Joseph disclosed plans for the construction of a concrete bridge within the community—an initiative aimed at easing movement and improving accessibility, especially during the rainy season when residents often face difficulties crossing.
The announcement was met with appreciation from community members, who described the project as timely and impactful.
Many of the women expressed gratitude for the Senator’s engagement, noting that such direct interactions provide hope and a platform for their voices to be heard.
The visit forms part of ongoing grassroots engagements by the proposed PAP, as the political movement seeks to strengthen its presence and connect with communities across Montserrado County.
