Residents of Ashmun Street Dusty Road Community are expressing concern after former representative candidate Madam Kebbeh Collins reportedly ordered the retrieval of her water tank she donated during the 2023 election campaign.
The water tank, which was provided through her, was intended to support the community for water during dry season at the time of her bid for the district seat. However, the item has now been retrieved and taken to the Ashmun Street Police Station following a disagreement between Madam Collins and residents of the community..
According to reports, Madam Collins ordered for the elder at the police station after the residents allegedly declined to return the water tank upon her request. The matter was later addressed at the station, where the elder reportedly signed a written promise note acknowledging the situation and agreeing to terms concerning the water tank under the influence of the Police.
Some residents stated, this is not about the community rather about her Former Chairman Mr. Rufus Chea who has been aligning himself with the current district lawmaker Hon. Emmanuel Dahn after a reconciliation meeting hosted in the district which her very self was present and even turned Mr. Chea over to the Lawmaker for smooth working relationship for the betterment of the district…
Some concerned residents of the district allege that this is not the first time Madam Collins has retrieved items donated during an election period, claiming a similar situation occurred previously in the Front Street Community.
With 2029 approaching and Madam Collins reportedly considering a third attempt for the district seat, residents of Ashmun Street dusty road are now questioning what campaign message she will bring to them amid the retrieving of items.
