Bong County Senator Prince Kermue Moye Sr. Donates Building Materials to Forquelleh and Surrounding Communities in Panta, Bong Electoral District #4
FORQUELLEH, Panta District, Bong County – Bong County Senator Prince Kermue Moye Sr. on Thursday donated assorted building and community support materials to residents of Forquelleh and surrounding towns and villages in Panta, Bong Electoral District #4, in a move aimed at supporting local development and improving living conditions in the area.
The donation included one hundred chairs, twenty bundles of zinc, one hundred bags of cement, and twenty-five solar lights. The materials were presented to community members during a gathering held in Forquelleh on Thursday afternoon.
The donation forms part of Senator Moye’s continued commitment to humanitarian support and community development across Bong County. According to residents, the assistance fulfills a promise the Senator made during a recent visit to the district, where he pledged to support communities with materials to help address local development needs.
Presenting the items on behalf of Senator Moye, the County Coordinator in the Senator’s office, Daniel Giddings Kerkulah, urged residents to make good use of the materials and emphasized the Senator’s commitment to helping communities grow.
“During Honorable Moye’s visit here, he promised to bring these materials to the people of this area. Today, he has fulfilled that promise, and we encourage everyone to use them wisely for the benefit of the entire community,” Kerkulah said.
Receiving the donation, the Paramount Chief and youth leaders of the area expressed appreciation to Senator Moye for honoring his commitment and responding to the needs of the people.
“Today, we are happy to receive these materials. We thank Senator Moye for keeping his promise and standing with our communities during a time when support like this is greatly needed,” the community leaders said.
They also assured the Senator and his team that the materials would be used for their intended purposes to benefit Forquelleh and neighboring communities.
Residents described the donation as timely and meaningful, noting that the support will contribute to ongoing community development efforts while improving access to basic materials needed for public use.
