Beachside Talks Spark Political Speculation: Morlu and Gray spotted in Close Conversation

By Myean D Torgbean

Monrovia—Political observers are abuzz following the sighting of STAND Chairman Mulbah K. Morlu in what appeared to be a private and cordial beachside conversation with former CDC Chairman on Executive and Representative Hon. Acarous Moses Gray.

The two influential figures were reportedly spotted walking along the beach engaged in what eyewitnesses described as a “close and lengthy discussion,” fueling speculation about possible political realignments ahead of future engagements.

Mr. Morlu, once associated with the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), has in recent times carved his own path in the political landscape through his leadership of STAND. His unexpected meeting with Former Rep. Gray, a prominent CDC stalwart, has raised fresh questions about whether a return to the CDC could be under consideration.

While neither party has publicly commented on the nature of their discussion, the encounter has already stirred debate across political circles, with many Liberians closely watching for any signs of shifting alliances.

As the political atmosphere continues to evolve, this development may signal more than just a casual meeting potentially hinting at strategic conversations that could shape the direction of opposition politics in the country.
