Our Heroes Were Set Free Today; Gratitude to Those Who Facilitated!
True to our commitment to never leave a single soldier behind, our brave and courageous civil rights heroes and heroines were set free today by the Monrovia City Court, after being forwarded by the Liberia National Police on baseless and politically motivated charges.
Despite unlawful arrests, illegal detention, and—in some cases—brutalization by trigger-happy police officers, these civil rights soldiers remain fearless, unapologetic, and energized to continue the struggle for Liberia’s socio-economic and judicial emancipation.
We salute you, comrades-in-arms, and we salute all the fighting forces who turned out, demonstrating rare courage in the face of overwhelming security intimidation. Thank you all for standing your ground against all odds.
We also extend our gratitude to Attny. Abraham Wheon, Attny. Henry Wokolo, and all other patriots who facilitated this outcome. Shortly, a formal appreciation program will be announced alongside our post-protest press conference, as we recalibrate and advance the relentless revolutionary agenda.
