Rep. Prince K. Koinah Completes New Clinic in Baila to Improve Healthcare Access

Baila, Fopolu Clan, Bong County – Residents of Baila Town and surrounding communities are expected to benefit from improved healthcare services following the completion of a modern clinic constructed by Bong County Electoral District #1 Representative, Hon. Prince K. Koinah.
The newly completed health facility, located in Baila, Fopolu Clan, Kpaai District, is awaiting its official dedication before being opened to the public.
For years, Baila, a border town with an estimated population of more than 2,000 people, has lacked a nearby healthcare facility, forcing residents to travel long distances to access medical treatment. The completion of the clinic is expected to significantly improve access to quality healthcare for the community and nearby towns.
According to the project’s coordinator, Peter Sapolucia, construction of the facility has been fully completed, including the installation of electricity, and it is now ready for commissioning. The clinic features six patient wards, a modern laboratory, a pharmacy, and five bathrooms, providing the essential infrastructure needed to deliver quality medical services.
Upon its official dedication, the facility will be turned over to the Bong County Health Team, which will oversee its operation and provide 24-hour healthcare services to residents of Fopolu Clan and neighboring communities.
The official dedication date has not yet been announced but is expected to be made public in the coming days.
The completion of the clinic marks another major development initiative by Representative Prince K. Koinah, aimed at expanding access to essential public services and improving the well-being of communities across Electoral District #1.
