Representative Bernard Blue Benson Jr. of Montserrado County Electoral District 17 has reaffirmed his strong dedication to grassroots development, stressing that lasting progress is rooted in solid infrastructure especially improved road networks within district communities.

As part of his 2026 development vision, Rep. Benson outlined major priorities that include the construction and rehabilitation of community roads and bridges, alongside initiatives aimed at empowering women.

He explained that these focus areas are vital for increasing accessibility, stimulating local economic growth, and improving the overall standard of living for residents.

A notable achievement has already been recorded with the completion of the first culvert installation on the Parker Corner/Kepkor Road.

This accomplishment represents a major improvement in both transportation flow and drainage along the route.

Rep. Benson further disclosed that construction will proceed without delay on a second culvert on the same road, underscoring steady progress and effective implementation.

In addition to culvert projects, his team has begun grading and reopening long-abandoned roads and alleys, with special attention given to the Boika Town community in Central Brewerville.

These interventions are intended to restore neglected access routes, facilitate easier movement, and promote safety and community development.

According to Rep. Benson, these ongoing projects reflect his inclusive development agenda—one that places underserved communities at the center and ensures infrastructure improvements have a direct, positive impact on the daily lives of citizens.
