President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has dismissed two senior officials of the National Housing Authority for financial misconduct.

Those dismissed are Deputy Managing Director for Administration, Prince S. Bonnah, and Deputy Managing Director for Technical Services, Alex Railey.\

The decision, effective immediately, follows the findings of an investigation committee and a Board resolution which confirmed violations of the Public Financial Management Regulations of 2009.

President Boakai says his administration will not tolerate financial indiscipline or the misuse of public resources, stressing that public officials must uphold integrity, transparency, and accountability.

The Liberian leader has assured the public that measures are in place to ensure the continued and lawful operation of the National Housing Authority.

The announcement was made through Presidential Press Secretary, Atty. Kula Bonah Nyei Fofana.
