President Boakai Dedicates Nyonblee Sports Academy, Champions Youth Development Through Sports

Buchanan, Grand Bassa County – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. on Saturday dedicated the Nyonblee Sports Academy in Neekree Township, a landmark sports facility constructed through the efforts of Grand Bassa County Senator Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence.

The dedication ceremony brought together government officials, community members, youth, and sports enthusiasts, highlighting the importance of investing in young people through sports and recreation.

Following the dedication, President Boakai attended a football exhibition at the academy, where the ceremonial kickoff was performed by Vice President Jeremiah Kpan Koung. The event was marked by excitement and celebration as local residents welcomed the leaders and applauded the new facility.

The academy is expected to provide a platform for nurturing young sporting talents while promoting discipline, teamwork, and community development across Grand Bassa County.
