The Director General of the Liberia Intellectual Property Office (LIPO), Hon. Garmai Koboi, together with the Deputy Director General for Industrial Property, Hon. Jamus Pinky Bannah, are representing Liberia at the 49th Session of the Administrative Council of the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO).
This high-level meeting convenes heads and senior technical leaders from IP offices across the African region to review progress, strengthen cooperation, and address strategic priorities aimed at enhancing intellectual property systems within ARIPO Member States.
Liberia has proudly served for the past two years as Chair of the Technical Committee on Copyright and Related Rights, and during this session, Hon. Bannah as Chairperson for the Committee will be presenting report, including key achievements and recommendations that will support ARIPO’s continued growth and harmonization across her 22 Member States.
LIPO remains committed to advancing regional collaboration, modernizing Liberia’s IP framework in line with international best practices, and promoting creativity, innovation, and economic development through a strong and effective IP ecosystem.
