Jackson F. Doe Hospital Acquires Two New Ambulances to Boost Healthcare Delivery
Management of the Jackson F. Doe Memorial Regional Referral Hospital has procured two brand-new ambulances as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery in Nimba County and other leeward counties.
Hospital authorities say the addition of the ambulances will significantly improve the institution’s emergency response and patient referral system, ensuring the timely transportation of critically ill patients and expanding access to essential medical services across the region.
Speaking on the development, Dr. Victor Kaizer described the acquisition as a major step toward improving quality healthcare services for residents of Nimba and surrounding counties.
According to him, the investment demonstrates the hospital management’s commitment to providing efficient, reliable, and high-quality medical care to the Liberian people.
Dr. Kaizer further credited the achievement to the development agenda of Liberian President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, while expressing appreciation to the President, Vice President, and the Government of Liberia for their support to the health sector.
“We say a big thank you to the President, Vice President, and the Government. Our work will do the talking. We will continue to work for our people,” he stated.
The acquisition of the ambulances is expected to ease transportation challenges faced by patients in emergency situations, particularly in remote parts of the region where access to healthcare remains difficult.
