“I’m Lazy With Softcopies” Senator Samuel Kogar Demands Printed Health Workers Report

Samuel Kogar on Tuesday called for the immediate submission of hard copies of the Ministry of Health’s report on the status of the Drug Revolving Funds, along with a complete listing of volunteer health workers across the country.

Speaking during a Senate hearing, Senator Kogar criticized the Ministry for presenting the documents only in soft copy format, describing the move as a disservice to members of the Senate. He urged the Senate to suspend the hearing until printed copies of the documents are distributed to individual senators for proper review.

According to the Nimba County lawmaker, hard copies would enable senators to clearly identify and mark specific areas of concern during fact-finding visits in their respective counties to determine whether the Ministry’s report reflects accurate information.

Senator Kogar further admitted that he prefers reviewing printed documents over electronic versions, describing himself as “Lazy” when it comes to verifying information on soft copies.
