Good morning to every Cdcian out there. The supreme court might likely rule in Yekeh’s favor and mandate his immediate reinstatement but Boakai and his UP gang are noted for being disrespectful to the high court. They will as usual say the SC has no control over the legislature with their so-called “separation of powers” argument.

So, it is obvious that Yekeh’s seat is up for grab and the CDC stands a better chance to win the seat but Josephine Davis is not a favorable candidate for the task. The CDC should be aware that the would-be by-election is a litmus test intended to prove its strength in Montserrado, and losing the crucial election would make many people weak in supporting Weah in 2029.

The fact that the by-election is not in any tribal region (Nimba, Lofa, and Bong), the CDC is standing a better chance to drag any candidate UP fields with Jefferson Koijee on the ballot.

Why Koijee is the face?

* Josephine Davis stopped talking to her supporters since the 2023 battle and most of them aren’t willing to support her in the crucial by-election

* Josephine Davis went quiet on national politics while Koijee is active on the frontline ensuring that Weah’s legacies are protected and his name lives with the people

* Saah Joseph and Fallah will support Koijee with everything undercover, but will fight with everything to ensure that the CDC and Josephine Davis are defeated so as to prove to the Liberian people and the Unity Party that they drove the masses during their days in the CDC

* Lofians in district #10 will prefer a Koijee candidacy over anyone else based on his contributions in their county. As we all know, Jeff is a man of humility

Koijee is loved by the CDC Youth Congress and the young people will take any risk to get him elected, but Davis does not enjoy such confidence and support

* With Koijee’s face on the ballot, Boakai will not have the courage to ever think about cheating as doing so is a dangerous risk, and UP surrogates know it very well

• On the other hand, Chairman Mulbah Morlu could be another better option for the CDC than Josephine Davis who has lost grid due to her unimaginable silence on national issues amid economic crisis across Liberia coupled with incremental unemployment rate and flagrant disregard for the rule of law

Fellow Weahcians and Cdcians, the pending by-election is beyond just a district seat, and we must do everything humanly possible to pass the litmus test as we prepare ourselves for Weah’s unstoppable return. Koijee will pave the way for Josephine in 2029 while he journeys to the Liberian senate.
