Police Charge over a Dozen “Lead or Leave Protesters with Multiple Charges.
The Liberia National Police has charged and forwarded to court thirteen suspects, including others yet to be identified, for their involvement in the violent “Lead or Leave” protest held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in Monrovia, Montserrado County.
The charges include Riot, Failure to Disperse, Disorderly Conduct, and Obstructing Highway and Other Public Passages, in violation of Chapter 17, Sections 17.1, 17.3, and 17.7 of the Revised Penal Law of the Republic of Liberia.
