BREAKING: Joint Security Arrests Two Foreign Nationals in Major Drug Bust

Joint security forces, led by the Liberia National Police (LNP), have arrested two foreign nationals following the discovery of a huge consignment of suspected illicit drugs in the VOA Community near the Roberts International Airport (RIA), Margibi County.

The operation, conducted on Tuesday, resulted in the seizure of several packages of suspected cocaine and other suspected narcotics. Authorities also recovered firearms during the raid as investigators continue to determine the full scope of the operation and the identities of those involved.

Inspector General of Police Gregory O. W. Coleman led senior security officials to the scene, where he assured the public that the investigation is ongoing and that all individuals connected to the alleged trafficking network will be pursued.

The latest operation is being described as one of the country’s most significant anti-drug crackdowns in recent times, reinforcing the government’s efforts to combat transnational drug trafficking and prevent Liberia from becoming a transit point for illicit narcotics.
